+++ EasyTrack Plus Series and EasyShade Series introduced +++

Easy, comortable and affordable curtain track motorization.

A new arrival to the broad range of curtain track motors from Trietex (R) - the new EasyTrack Plus series. One series of compact drives with integrated push button limits for easy setup. The EasyTrack Plus Series will move curtains at a speed of 270mm per second and is a perfect choice for small and medium curtains. Available in three different versions with 30 watts, 45 watts and 50 watts of power. 

Depending on the version of the EasyTrack Plus and the transportation belt chosen the system can be opened by hand in case of power failure without any damage to the motor or any new setup to the limits. Even without electricity the motor will recognize the manual movement and stop exactly at the end position after power is restored. All this is made possible by a clever and patented gearing. 

But it is not only the technical innovations that make this series so attractive - it is also a surprising low price for a high quality solution. you will also find parts of the technology of the EasyTrack Plus in the new EasyShade Series - the first motors for roman shades by Trietex (R). +++ Plagiarius Awards +++

"Innovation vs. Imitation - Plagiarius” accuses imitators for their unimaginative and shameless behaviour! Initiated already back in 1977 by Prof. Rido Busse, the negative award "Plagiarius" serves to inform the public about the problem of fakes and plagiarisms and the negative impacts they have on not only the economy as a whole, but also on small companies and designers. Action Plagiarius awards the negative award at the annual “Ambiente” trade fair during a press conference. The award is given to those companies that the jury has found guilty of making "the most flagrant" design imitations. As his key figure, Busse chose a gnome, which he painted black with a gold nose to signify the “illicit earnings from product imitation”.

Admittedly, there is no progress and development without referring to already existing patterns, ideas and rules. However what counts is the willingness to develop the existing and give it an individual and distinctive style. The imitators pursue one goal only: to profit at the expense of the hard work of others – and this affects the creatives and the consumers likewise.

They copy successful products thereby not only saving on expensive costs for R&D and marketing, but also in production costs by outsourcing the production to foreign countries where the cost is much lower resulting in sometimes lower quality products which ultimately is at the expense of the consumer. In some industries such as toys, technical / electronic products or medication the poor quality can even be fatal. 

One of the rewarded companies during the Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt on the 11th of Febraury was a dutch importer of imitations of the famous Trietex "Elektra" series.

+++ Trietex Compact for Vertical Blinds +++

In close cooperation with Aerolux GmbH in Germany Trietex produces a new motor for vertical blinds with only 30mm of height. The slim motor named "Compact" tilts and transports vertical blinds at 24 volts. The system is based on patented technology from the HJM-2410 motor. The motor is available in four versions. 

+++ Visions for the home of the future +++

Tobit Software, a leading german company for communication software, shows its visions for the house of the future with the project "Easy Living". It is a fully automated house located in Ahaus with many innovative ideas. All electrical devices, including Trietex "Elektra" motors for the curtains, are being controlled by the "David Communication Server" and can be controlled by switches, from the PC or even by the mobile phone. +++ More than 200.000 Motors made by Trietex +++

Since the start of the production Trietex has manufactured now over 200.000 motors that are used worldwide. All employees of Trietex celebrated this event with a glass of champaign.

+++ ElektraXL and EasyTrack Comfort availability information +++

The new products are about to be launched within the next weeks. Initial samples of the EasyTrack will go for shipping to key customers in February, the start of serial production to follow immediately. +++ HJM-2410 Product Update +++

The double power ! Especially for the use with big and heavy venetian blinds Trietex offers now an excellent solution - the HJM-2410 as tandem version. Placed easily on each side of the track it almost doubles the power to move even huge venetian blind systems. It comes as a complete system with one master motor with integrated end position switches and the slave motor that is controlled by the master. Soon to be available the new power supply from Trietex for below wall mounting.

Trietex will be exhibiting together with our partner Sundrape at the international R+T 2003 fair in Stuttgart. We are still busy preparing the new products we will be showing and we are looking forward to discussing the news and your experiences with Trietex products at this occassion.

Looking over the figures of 2003 even our optimistic forecast has been topped. Trietex has been producing more motors than ever before making it the best year in our history. But even though being more busy than expected we worked on improving our production process successfully as well as keeping on investing into new products.

Especially in combination with heavy draperies the Elektra 60 Watt enhances our range of products. Already available for 230 volts and the 110 volts version is now in testing. For tilt-only applications for vertical blinds the Elmatic is also now available in 25 Watts.

+++ HJM 2410 Product Update +++

The strong and easy-to-install motor for horizontal blinds is now available in an updated version from stock. The connections to the power supply can now simply be fixed by  tightening two screws and the overall length is now reduced to 108mm.
